Aunt Ilene was a very special woman. I remember her great sense of humor and how she could always make everyone laugh. She was a lot of fun at family events. She seemed to always have a smile, and yes, her camera. She will be dearly missed. You have our deepest sympathy.

I will always remember how special Ilene was to all of her neighbors and friends on Nathaline. She always took the time to talk and to make you smile. She always had her camera at gatherings. I remember her riding her bike, crossing the children and listening to music at the concerts in the park. She gave our family a very precious gift: our dog Cinder, who was a wonderful dog that we loved for over 14 years. We are really going to miss her smiling face. The Lord has a very special "angel" up there with him. Love You Ilene!

Jim and Rob,
Auntie Ilene was a precious and special lady with an overwhelming heart in all her ways. She was always the life of the party, and I must say, the last to leave. She had her own way of making everyone laugh. She was the Photographer at every event she ever attended. Just remember that she was loved very much by all of us, and will be in our hearts forever. She was one of those special ones that God felt he needed as an angel like her up in heaven. We will all miss her dearly, and is now with everyone else she loved, and had so many good times with, as we know. Think of them all playing cards, as they loved to do. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better than her for an Aunt.
God Bless!

Jimmy and Robbie,
Your mother was such a special aunt to me. She was always there for us as kids, baking goodies, ice skating with us, swimming with us and she even took me to a play once via bus transportation, oh what fun that was, just her & I. She was always our Auntie Ilene and will be deeply missed. When she and your dad would visit and it was time to go home, she'd say 'Just one more picture Alec' and then that dang flash would not go off so we'd try again. She brought so much laughter with her and she will be deeply missed. I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
