So sorry we missed Uncle Stanley's service. We were in Chicago visiting grandchildren, and feel badly for our absence. Our prayers go out to Uncle Stan's family and those nearest and dearest to him. May our good Lord take care of him and give him rest. Mary Ann (Cislo) and Edward Harkins

Uncle Stanley taught me that ham wasn't just something to be eaten on Easter at Busia's house. Through his proud hobby, he intrigued and inspired so many of 'us kids' to pursue science and engineering. For this, I will always be grateful to him.
Some other anecdotes and memories... He could change light bulbs in a ceiling fixture without using a stool, sing Polish Christmas carols without a song book, provide additional cigar smoke to any smoky room, drove the best of cars (GM Cadillac), gave my dad some great arguments.... and could do a bird whistle that once registered at 115db!
I apologize and feel terrible for having missed Uncle Stanley's funeral. May God Bless the Cislo family, and may Uncle Stanley rest in peace.

So sorry to hear my godfather, Uncle Stanley's passing. Our condolences to everyone near and dear to him. For my brother Ray(Gail), brother Dan(Dorothy), who are still in Florida, and brother Jerry(Carol) and myself, we will keep Uncle in our prayers. May the Lord keep watch over him. Uncle Stanley will be missed but continues to live in our hearts forever. Remembering him with such kindness and radio skills, he literally touched people all over the world! And wherever there are happy memories, there will always be love.

God Bless Uncle Stanley. I remember all the time our famolies spent together, the blueberry picking behind the Tawas Drive-In, I still cannot figure how you all fit in that Falcon driving up north. I will tell you that Uncle Stanley & Grandpa were my inspiration for a "I can do it" attitude that has carried me through life. It must have happened when I put that safety pin in the wall socket at your house?, or was it when Uncle Stanley gave me a book to study morse code?
God Bless Uncle Stanley & God Bless your entire family.
Amen. Henry, Sally & Emily Ubik

Sorry to hear about Grandpa's passing, and glad that I was able to see him last Christmas. I wish I could be there with all the family and friends, but I will say a prayer for him in Boston. We will miss you, Grandpa Cislo! Thanks for all the great memories you have given us xoxo

I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed talking about ham radios and RF with Stan when we had family gatherings.
I will miss the funeral unfortunately. I leave for Korea in the morning.

Well, I guess I'll be the first to sign in. I'm so very saddened to hear about my Uncle Stanley. I will always remember him as a wonderful person with a twinkle in his eye (and will always remember him on his birthday). His niece, Elaine
